Some other improvements in another update!


Hello again everyone! I've been messing around with a new project and made some changes to this game as well.

- Added animated battlers for the party and the enemies.

- Added visual effects to indicate inflicting damage and taking damage.

- Added two rooms, two new enemy encounters and moved some stuff around.

- Improved things like messy eventing, unorganized maps, cluttered tilesets, etc.

This was my first time drawing animated battlers. With just 3 frames of animation it was a bit challenging to find a balance between a battler moving way too much or way too little, but overall I think they turned out decent. I also changed the main character for various reasons, but primarily because I was thinking about eventually combining different projects into one larger game.

I think the combat is much better than it was. I tried adding timed attacks and having skills require QTEs to execute, but that just makes fights take way too long. For now I will just leave it like it is, but I am open to any ideas, suggestions or comments.
